Academic Qualification

a. A recognised bachelor's degree with honours in Business from a recognised university or comparable institution, or a professional qualification deemed to be equivalent (e.g., a professional qualification in accounting or finance field such as CPA/ACCA from designated accounting bodies, CFA from Institute of Certified Financial Analysts, CMA from Institute of Management Accountants, etc.); or

b. A bachelor's degree in other disciplines with relevant experience and/or training in Accounting, Finance, Management or related fields.

Language Proficiency Requirement

Applicants should possess proof of English proficiency if their first degrees were obtained from non-English-medium institutions:

  1. a minimum IELTS overall band score of 6.5; or

  2. TOEFL score of 79 (internet-based); or

  3. the equivalent score of other tests.
Others

Applicants should have a satisfactory performance in an admission interview;

Applicants with Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score or relevant working experience are preferred.

Application Procedures

1. Complete the online application form.

2. Consider choosing one academic referee and one professional referee (for those with working experience). The academic referee should be able to comment on your academic ability and preferably have direct experience of your academic work. The professional referee can be your current or previous employer who should be able to assess your professional abilities.

3. Check the accuracy of your referee's email addresses as reference request emails are sent to your referees once you submit your application. Referees are contacted by the Graduate School via email with detailed instructions on how to submit an online reference form.

4. Upload all the supporting documents together with the Application Form to the Graduate School Website and pay the non-refundable application fee.

Notes for Applicants
  • Applications are considered on a rolling basis. Review of applications will start before the deadline and continue until all places are filled. Early application is therefore strongly encouraged.

  • Non-local students who must obtain a student visa to stay and study in Hong Kong should consider the full-time mode of this programme, since only full-time students will apply for student visas via the University.  Part-time non-local students should possess appropriate and valid visa to prove their eligibility to stay and study in Hong Kong.
